TRAINING CENTRE & SHORT GAME AREA

The Golf Club Würzburg offers optimal training conditions. The spacious driving range can be used all year round, while the short game area can be used to practise all forms of approach around the green.

Long game, short game, putting –
the numerous practice facilities on the grounds of the Golf Club Würzburg leave nothing to be desired. A total of three putting greens (at the driving range, in front of the clubhouse terrace, at the first tee) as well as two short game greens with nine approach options and two practice bunkers invite you to practise.

There is also a spacious driving range with 30 mat tees and space for over 40 players on the natural grass tees. The range is 280 metres long and has numerous distance points and raised target mounds with flags. The practice balls are regularly replaced.

Our training centre has been an ‘Allianz Golf Arena’ since 2020. Only a few golf clubs worldwide are selected partners of Allianz AG with such a co-operation. These include, for example, the ‘Home Of Golf’, the Royal & Ancient Golf Club of St. Andrews in Scotland and the Golf Club St. Leon-Rot in Germany. We are proud to have been accepted into this small but excellent network and will therefore be able to offer you even more training opportunities in the future.

New large distance signs, mobile targets and target greens create further training incentives and promote fun while practising!

The new ‘Drive & Fitting Pavilion’ and the renovated tee building have been available to you since 2021.

Floodlights and radiant heaters will make training easier in the future, offer new possibilities and increase training efficiency, including the use of a ‘TrackMan’.

Our golf shop partner ‘Surf In’ will expand its fitting programme at the Würzburg Golf Club and, thanks to our new on-site facilities, will be able to offer its customers a broader and higher-quality range.

Short Game Area

Our short game area is the ideal place to work on your shots under 100 metres. With different tees, distances and target areas, your golf game will improve instantly!

Driving Range

Our driving range is not only the perfect place to improve your own golf game – either on your own or together with the golf pros from the PGA Academy. The practice area is also an ideal place to relax after work on warm summer evenings or to meet up with friends to hit balls together.

You will also find the Golf Academy office right next to the driving range.
