On March 11, 2022, the new restaurant „TigerROOM“ opened in the clubhouse of the Golf Club Würzburg.
The name was chosen based on one of the most legendary golfers in the world and stands for extraordinary moments in a cool and contemporary ambience. The winter break was used for the very complex and month-long renovation work in the clubhouse. The restaurant is furnished in the style of a modern club and also invites you to linger over small delicacies and drinks. The host is Markus Grein, who was born in Würzburg, with his professional team. He can look back on many years of nationwide experience in event catering and upscale gastronomy.
Operator Markus Grein: „It is very important to us to convince the members of the Golf Club Würzburg and the guests with our offer and our hospitality in order to offer you a special stay. The location of the restaurant and the well-kept five-star golf course, which has been a member of the „Leading Golf Clubs of Germany“ for many years, fit our concept very well“.
From Tuesday to Sunday there is a varied seasonal offer all day long. The restaurant offers refined and down-to-earth hospitality, which is reflected in a variety of well-known and new dishes. Kitchen professionals who have already worked in well-known and selected restaurants stand for quality and creativity. The 8 meter long bar is a place for good conversation and a freshly tapped beer. The extensive wine list not only includes Franconian, but also numerous international wines. Typical bar dishes such as club sandwiches, Caesar salads or beef burgers are also offered. Gourmets can enjoy a special menu in the conservatory on weekends from April 2022. The day and evening menu promise an experience every day and the premises also invite you to something special.
In addition to the restaurant and winter garden, substantial investments were also made in the event area of the pavilion, which also presents itself in a new ambience. Together with a completely new kitchen technology, extraordinary framework conditions were created for the guests of the „TigerROOM“.
